German tuning firm Brabus has revealed several kits for the Mercedes-AMG G63 over the past few years, including the ‘One of Ten’ package, the armored ‘Invicto’, a ‘Widestar’ wide-body treatment, and the ‘Adventure’, which was unveiled late in 2019. A pick-up version, named the ‘800 Adventure XLP’, was revealed the following year.

Off all the Brabus G63 treatments, the 800 Adventure XLP package is, as its name suggests, the most rough and ready of the lot. The kit came with a special electronically controlled suspension, a clearance of nearly 20 inches, 22-inch monoblock wheels and special tires, and a power boost for the eight-cylinder model to 789 horsepower and 737 pound-feet of torque.

This winter, the company unveiled a new 800 Adventure XLP conversion of the G-Class. Brabus calls the 800-level kit ‘Superblack’, and it also lengthens the model to nearly 17.5 feet while adding carbon fiber Widestar components to the exterior and a glitzy all-black ‘Masterpiece’ interior.

Brabus has priced the 800 Adventure XLP Superblack at €726,259; at the current rate of exchange, that’s a little more than $824K.
