2024 Audi RS6 Avant and RS7 Add Performance Trim; Bronze Edition Limited to 125 Units

Audi announced enhanced trim options for the 2024 RS6 Avant and RS7 Sportback models. At the top of the pops — briefly — will be a special Bronze Edition of both, with a total of 125 produced with that package.  Only 50 RS7 Bronze Edition examples will be produced by the automaker, along with 75 RS6 Avant Bronze Edition cars.

The Bronze Edition package is a cosmetic and performance enhancement. In fact, Bronze Edition cars use Audi’s Performance variants as foundations; the Bronze Edition cars begin with the Performance kit’s bigger dual turbos and V8s and their resulting 621 horsepower and 627 pound-feet of torque.

Audi has bumped up the power profile of the RS6 and RS7 Sportback optioned with the Bronze Edition package over and above the Performance option, however; the special cars receive Dynamic Ride Control, as well as an electronically limited top speed of 174 MPH—up from 155 MPH for the Performance version. The 0-60 upshot is an improvement of two-tenths of a second over the Performance version.

As for looks and luxury, the Bronze cars sport a combination of an edition-specific shade of crystal black, 22-inch gold neodymium wheels in a matte finish — with black calipers — and glossy carbon fiber accent components. Interior touches on Bronze Edition cars include Bang & Olufsen audio and special leather and suede upholstery.

Audi hasn’t announced pricing for the 2024 Bronze Edition RS6 and 2024 Bronze Edition RS7 Sportback versions at this time. Deliveries are slated to being in the third quarter of this year, however, so if you’d like to be one of the 125, well, tempus fugit.
