AddArmor, an automotive ballistic protection specialist company residing in Wyoming, claims in marketing text that they specialize in ‘turning regular vehicles into mobile safe rooms’. A few of the company’s latest customization projects include taking on a Hennessey VelociRaptor, a 600-horsepower ‘supertruck’, giving it B6-level ballistic protection. Back in 2019, it made waves with the unveiling of an armored Audi RS7 that can hit 60 mph in 2.9 seconds on its way to a top speed of 202 mph. In 2020, it followed up with an armored Ferrari 458 Speciale boasting a 2.8-second 0-60 and a top speed of 202 mph.

Most recently, AddArmor delivered an Aston Martin Vantage with a host of hostile and anti-hostility treats. The finished Vantage now offers occupants B4-level ballistic protection, which provides safety from AK-47 gunfire.

However, it’s the ‘Anti-Intrusion’ package that distinguishes this armoring project; the list of options to prevent entry includes door handles that can deliver a mean shock to carjackers or other baddies, bullet- and smash-resistant glass, run-flat tires, fuel tank protection, and  ballistic protection panels that are “60% lighter and 10 times stronger than steel,” according to the company.
