That didn’t take long.

It was only about a month ago that Drake’s compound in Hidden Hills appeared on the open market. With its sprawling main estate and its two auxiliary properties—at least one of which the R&B/pop/rap performer purchased as a means of resolving noise complaints—the 6.7-acre combined property was listed at $22.2 million.

The properties were listed piecemeal, however, and stepping up to pick up the two smaller properties of the trio above ask this month was Los Angeles hometown hero Matthew Stafford. According to The Los Angeles Times, the Rams QB paid a combined $11 million for the adjacent homes, which had been listed at a combined $7.5 million prior to the closings. Stafford’s $160 million paycheck, which will be doled out over the next four years, greased the wheels, making the millions paid over ask easier to stomach.

But to the homes. The larger of the rancho pair has seen fairly recent revisions, and sports an interior with beamed and vaulted ceilings, oak plank, sliding glass, a corner fireplace, and built-in shelving. The kitchen features a U-shaped layout with a large center island. The smaller measures in at 2,500 sq. ft., and needs interior updates badly; the 2.2 acres that frame it is the real story here.
