In the final weeks of last year, Prince Michael Jackson—Michael Jackson’s son—closed on this 1990-built mini-mansion in Calabasas for $2.62 million.

The home has been substantially revised. It begins with wrought iron and glass double doors, which open into a grandiose foyer with a curving staircase, a double-height ceiling, and distressed hardwood plank. The living room and entertainment room are offered on left and right, respectively, each embellished with a set of French doors capped with a fanlight.

The upper level contains four of the home’s six bedrooms—all of them are en-suite. The master receives a sizeable chunk of the available 6,382 square feet, and features his and hers baths, a large bedroom with a fireplace, and a small studio currently purposed as a gym.  The downstairs bedrooms are also en-suite.

The lot measures close to half an acre. From the street, its rather formal landscaping is its prominent features. Out back, though, it develops nicely as a SoCal retreat, with abundant patio space—some of it covered—along with an outdoor kitchen, a nice stretch of lawn, and a pool and spa.
