French audio brand Devialet has crafted impressive speakers in the past, but its new Gold Phantom Speaker claims to reach new heights.

Devialet’s Phantom may look a bit like a space egg, but it’s a full-fledged speaker with impressive sound performance. The base model Phantom puts out 750 watts, while the larger Silver Phantom is rated at 3,000 watts.

Now, the new Phantom Gold features 4,500 watts of power with the ability to reach volumes of 108 decibels, which happens to be as loud as a power saw or motorcycle. Stretching to an extreme 27kHz and as low as 14Hz, the frequency range of the speaker extends beyond that of the human ear.

In addition to the impressive sound production quality, the special speaker sports a rose gold exterior coating that’s actually 22-carat gold. The Phantom Gold also has built-in support for Bluetooth, Airplay, Wi-Fi, optical inputs, and Spotify Connect.

Set to ship in mid-July, the Phantom Gold is priced at $2,990.
