Moscow-based tuner Topcar Design, a collection of like-minded individuals who have specialized in modifying Porsche automobiles since 2004, has released a new iteration of their Stingray model. This time around, a Panamera 971 Turbo yielded the company’s Stingray GTR, a two-toned racecar-inspired version of the production car.

Weight was a paramount concern for the folks at Topcar, who brought a whole bevy of carbon fiber components to bear on the revision: spoiler, bumpers, fenders, hood, side skirt. The Topcar team wanted very much to downplay the Panamera 971’s identity as a four-door, and they did this by sneaking away the levers to the rear doors.

Topcar tuned the engine to produce an additional 100 horsepower over the production Panamera’s 550; their website lists no details on the engine modifications, but the usual suspects—larger turbo units and improved airflow—are probably part of the equation.

The company is also very open to interior customization; in keeping with the rather direct approach used for the car’s exterior changes, the interior options offer similar potentialities in the way of bling. Various leathers and hides—including crocodile—are options, as are various precious woods and metals. 24-karat gold is available as an interior cosmetic flourish, if desired.

The starting price for the kit is, at current exchange rates, a little more than $28K USD.
