Actors Tony Shalhoub and Brook Adams have listed their Los Angeles home for $3.988 million after only paying $675,000 for the house when they purchased it in 1993.

The 1992-built, 0.41-acre property is located in the historic and sought-after Windsor Square neighborhood, and the 4,379-square-foot Mediterranean-style villa is identifiable by its green-tile roof.

The 4-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom home has honey-blonde wood flooring, a carved stone fireplace, ebony and bone-white cabinetry in the bathroom, and extravagant ceiling moldings. The exterior of the residence sports a jungle theme with a Balinese-styled gazebo, a secret garden, an outdoor kitchen and bathroom, and a saltwater swimming pool complete with a spa.

Shalhoub has had a long acting career, with his most iconic role coming in the form of the OCD-driven Detective Monk on the award-winning show “Monk.” Adams is currently the producer and star of the web series “All Downhill From Here.” The couple also own a 5,506-square-foot home on six acres near the Chilmark Pond area of Martha’s Vineyard that they scooped up for a mere $750,000 in the late 1990s.
