In a fusion of history and horsepower, Ferrari unveils the GTO Legacy Tour 2024, a venture through the soul-stirring landscapes of the Italian Dolomites, commemorating four decades since the debut of its inaugural supercar, the GTO. Scheduled for October 1-5, 2024, this homage marks the 40th anniversary of a marvel that first roared to life at the 1984 Geneva Motor Show, promising an odyssey that is as much about celebrating the past as it is about driving into the future.

Traversing the vertiginous passes of Val Rendena to Maranello, the tour is a successor to the inaugural rally dedicated to the F40, weaving a tapestry of automotive excellence against the Dolomites’ jagged backdrop. Upon reaching Maranello, the cavalcade’s climax unfolds at the Fiorano Circuit with a parade, encapsulating the essence of Ferrari’s legacy.

Underneath the GTO’s hood lies a heart forged of engineering prowess—a longitudinally mounted V8 twin turbo, its 2.8-liter capacity a nod to the iconic 250 GTO. This engineering feat, enveloped in Pininfarina’s seductive lines and advanced composite bodywork, initially aimed for Group B racing’s glory. However, destiny charted a different course, earmarking the GTO as Ferrari’s venerable progenitor of the supercar lineage, alongside titans like the F40, F50, Enzo, and LaFerrari.

As Ferrari gears up for the GTO Legacy Tour 2024, GTO owners are invited to partake in this reverential journey. This rendezvous in the Dolomites celebrates Ferrari’s enduring legacy of innovation and passion, steering into the future while honoring the past.
