The annual Lexus LC 500 Inspiration Series car is always a special arrival. Not only is each yearly entry in the series an individual statement, but typically every Inspiration LC 500 is painted a unique shade that sometimes represents a story in and of itself.

The most interesting Inspiration cars, the Structural Blue LC 500 and the example in Nori Green that surfaced the year before, were wickedly beautiful hardtops. For 2022, the Inspiration Series veers into ragtop territory with an optional LC 500 convertible that features an exterior in Iridium gray contrasted with a Dark Rose soft top. A traditional coupe is available as well.

Special details for 2022’s Inspiration ride include 21-inch wheels that are 3D-machined, which gives them a contrasting tonality that pops up throughout the car, including in the grille, which as a result has a unique visual depth. And, regardless of body style chosen, the 2022 Inspiration Series LC 500 features an interior color scheme that reprises the color of the soft top.

Lexus will produce 150 Inspiration Series LC 500 cars this year.
