Rapper Big Sean picked up a 10,829 sq. ft. property in Encino recently. The six-bedroom house changed hands for $8.1 million changed hands last month. Big Sean closed another transaction in the summer, that one a sale in Beverly Hills, to the tune of $11.1 million.

The incoming property’s architectural style is described as French Normandy in the listing; exterior details include stone walls, turrets and a double-door entry. Among the home’s interior details are multiple fireplaces, plank hardwood floors, a built-in shelving unit with a rail ladder, and a curving staircase that is the centerpiece of the shared living area.

The home’s family room opens through a pocketing glass wall to an outdoor living room with a linear fireplace. Other amenities in and around this home: upper-level balconies, a pool, a covered dining area with a BBQ bar, a large master bedroom with a hipped ceiling, a master bath with an ethereal soaking tub alcove, a gym, and a theater.

Big Sean has released five studio albums. The first two peaked at the number three position on the Billboard 200 chart; the next three topped it. His most recent studio release is 2020’s Detroit 2.
