It took over three years, but Houston Astros owner Jim Crane has sold his Pebble Beach estate. The property that first went up for sale under Crane’s tenure asking $38 million had seen a steadily decreasing price over the years as it waxed and waned on the market; prior to the sale, the ask had dropped well over ten million dollars, and it finally closed at $21 million.

The estate’s grounds measure some nine acres, a luxurious amount of space for Pebble Beach. Interior living spaces come to almost 12,000 sq. ft., with eight bedrooms and eleven baths throughout the main house and two auxiliary residences on the estate.

The main house features stacked stone, which connects it profoundly to its rugged rustic coastal setting. The landscaping flows as effortlessly from the earth, building its atmosphere around the gnarled pines, scrub, and astonishing views of Carmel Bay.

Crane’s net worth is north of $1 billion.
