MLB All-Star Mark Mulder sold his estate in Scottsdale this month. The sprawling, 6,196 square-foot, single-level home had been owned by Mulder for nearly two decades; according to public records, he bought it in 2003 for $2 million. The selling price in 2020? $1.81 million. It’s a tough time to sell a home.

The home features desert and Spanish-style design elements. It contains five bedrooms and six baths, with the master outfitted with a wet bar, a private sitting area with a fireplace, and a bath with a soaking tub, twin showers, and a closet. The layout places the shared living areas in one wing, increasing entertaining potential; the great room makes an impressive spot for parties.

But the real story is the exterior living area, where a large, resort-like pool merge with areas for lounging and dining, as well as a sports court, a gazebo, a fireplace, a putting green, and a lawn.
