Following his 2019 professional move to Texas, Houston Rockets guard Ben McLemore put his home in Tarzana, California, up for sale this month for $2.799 million. If the traditional-come-contemporary style sells at ask, the sale will register as a break-even for McLemore, who paid $2.75 million for it in the spring of 2018.
The 5,068 square-footer was built in the early 1950s, but has been heavily renovated. Interior details include satin-finished, natural-toned hardwood, an open layout in the shared living area, and a staircase that now boasts a glass panel balustrade. The living room is tucked away in an alcove all its own, though, with a fireplace and black built-in shelving that contrasts with the white and off-white walls and ceilings.
Essential spaces are given proper attention in the home; the kitchen and master—which contains one of the five bedrooms and six baths in the house—are both large. A home theater is among the home’s amenities, and backyard features include a pool and spa, a covered patio, and an outdoor fireplace.
McLemore purchased the house ahead of beginning his second stint with the Kings. He signed with the Rockets about a year later.
