‘Kite Runner’ Producer Rebecca Yeldham Seeking $2.4M in Hollywood Hills

Producer Rebecca Yeldham put her home in Hollywood Hills up for sale this month with an asking price of $2.4 million. The Spanish Eclectic-style dates to the delirious year of 1927, and features the expansive massing and luxuriously asymmetrical, detail-rich eccentricity of the best Spanish-style homes of the era.

The home is protected by a stucco privacy wall. Behind it the last hundred years might not have yet accumulated, so faithfully has the home’s atmospheric spirit been sustained. Terra cotta tile, some hand painted, as well as period sconces and what appears to be an original front door make an intriguing preamble.

Inside, the spaces feels very open, with period details keeping the home’s era always in mind, and a more modern sensibility keeping the charm from reaching overload level. Narrow-plank oak, French doors, rounded edges, a little wrought iron, and the occasional Gothic arch distinguish the living room. The kitchen’s tile has to be seen—sand and moss green, walls and ceiling.

There are four bedrooms and four baths in the home’s 3,483 square feet. Views from the home are splendid, but perhaps the master suite receives the finest perspective on the city, as well as an intimate balcony to put it in the best of contexts. A beaut.

Yeldham’s production credits include executive duties on 2004’s Motorcycle Diaries and 2018’s Boy Erased.
