This month, Rockstar energy drink founder Russell Weiner dropped the price on one of the several residential properties he currently tends on the open market. According to public records, the beachfront modern in The Strand first came up for sale in the winter of this year, when it was priced at $21 million. It is now asking $18.95 million.

From the street, the 5,650 square footer cuts a fine figure of a warm contemporary modern with industrial overtones, with poured concrete exterior walls, a variety of window shapes, a hardwood garage door, and wood accents setting a warm and inviting feel. The beachside face of the home is designed in a gentle convex line.

The 6-bed, 6-bath house features marble floors throughout, extending even to the first-floor terrace overlooking the beach. A retractable glass wall opens in three sections, converting the living room into an interior/exterior space, and the kitchen boasts custom cabinets in what appears to be teak.

A few details of the interiors include a stairwell with a LED backlight-accented porthole-like skylight on the upper floor landing, a stone chimney, and a home theater with tiered seating.

Weiner has several properties for sale at present, including a Hollywood Hills contemporary which is priced at $28 million and went up for sale in September, and a pair of estate-sized properties in Florida that are priced mid-$30 million.

Weiner’s net worth is around $4 billion.
