A special Ferrari 330 GT is up for grabs for $495,900. Beyond its historical cachet, the vehicle has a distinguished provenance: It belonged to Enzo Ferrari himself.

The vehicle that’s sure to be sought-after by collectors served as Enzo’s private car for two years. The classic 2+2 was actually built as one of four prototypes ahead of the official 1963 launch of the 330 America and the 1964 debut of the 330 GT 2+2. The grand tourer features a V12 engine setup.

Two considerations make the car even more unique. First is its careful, detailed restoration. Second is its provenance as a rare Enzo-owned Ferrari. Enzo may have been a professional racer, but his street driving style was more modest, and he didn’t have a Ferrari for every day of the week, as one might expect. Generally, he drove an Alfa or a Mini.

Customers interested in the classic 330 GT (chassis number 4085) can find the vintage supercar at Daniel Schmitt & Co. in Missouri.
