Hollywood producer Oren Koules has said goodbye to his Los Angeles-area home. Koules originally listed the Ventura property for $4.99 million in January, but recently accepted an offer of $4.1 million to say sayonara to the beachfront property.

A contemporary design, the house measures in at 3,000 square feet, and holds six bedrooms and four baths. It dates to 1978, but extensive renovations have left it with a very modern aesthetic complimented by a relaxed feel, especially in the bedrooms. Like light hardwood floors, an open-concept living space, and expansive windows opening to views of the Pacific give the residence airiness and warmth.

The master suite boasts an unusual detail: a private wraparound balcony. 45 feet of beach frontage and an entertainment-friendly exterior space with patio, fire pit and pool are incorporated into the lot.

Koules is best known for his work on “Two and a Half Men” and the “Saw” movie franchise. More recently, he produced last year’s “Jigsaw.”
