Former Baltimore Orioles player Cal Ripken is auctioning off his Maryland estate. The MLB legend’s 24.3-acre Reisterstown compound will go under the gavel, with no reserve, in early May.

Ripken originally listed the home in mid-2016 for $12.5 million. He later reduced his ask by $2.75 million, but the right buyer remained elusive.

Now available once again…and, this time, headed definitively for a sale…the 21,890-square-foot home is destined to to find a new owner. The home’s six large bedrooms and 15 baths sprawl throughout a winged design. The comprehensive list of amenities includes a deco-inspired home cinema with tiered seating and raised stage, a home fitness center, and indoor basketball court and batting cage. The megamansion was built in 1985 and renovated toward the end of the ’90s.

Common spaces include a large living room with fireplace and built-ins, a French country-style kitchen with skylight, and a formal dining room. A pool, pool house, baseball diamond, private pond with dock, and wooded grounds fill out the property.

Ripken played 21 seasons with the Orioles, earning the nickname “The Iron Man” and winning the World Series in 1983.
