Reality star and actress Brigitte Nielsen has listed her Hollywood Hills home for $1.25 million.

The Los Angeles-area home is just over 1,500 square feet and holds three bedrooms and two baths. Nielsen bought the property for $600,000 in 2011. While a little on the compact side, the residence boasts a number of special features giving it a unique aesthetic and a great deal of character. There are competing textures and tones galore, but it all works quite well.

Visitors enter through a courtyard with tropical plants before moving through French doors to the living room with honey blonde hardwood floors and a green-marble fireplace. A few steps away is a lounge area with an imposing raised hearth fireplace.

The kitchen continues what appears to be a cottage-meets-country aesthetic with beadboard-fronted cabinets, a breakfast nook with built-in banquette seating, and glass sliders opening onto the property.

What the residence lacks in square footage, it makes up for in backyard with an expansive multi-level deck designed for entertaining. It is perfect for hosting friends, complete with a partially sunken spa, a ping-pong table, a tented lounge area, and a wall of fake grass.

Nielsen is a former Playboy model and recently appeared in “Adi Shankar’s Gods and Secrets”; she will hit screens again soon, in the forthcoming indie drama “Trapped.” Her marriage to Sly Stallone lasted two years, ending in 1987. The couple starred in two Hollywood films together, ‘Rocky IV’ and ‘Cobra’.
