Garmin has creatively developed a unique new camera that combines two fisheye lenses to capture an incredibly wide image, and an intoxicating sense of continuity.

The Garmin Virb 360 Camera is able to capture 360º degree footage through a pair of opposite-facing lenses and a unique stitching algorithm. As the images are recorded, the algorithm puts them together. It’s an interesting design, and a cool and sophisticated toy.

Waterproof to 30 feet and enabled for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connections, the camera is built for nearly any environment while offering advanced tech features like automatic stabilization. In fact, photogs can utilize one of three stabilization modes for a smooth video.

The camera can also shoot 15-megapixel spherical photos and capture 5.7K video at 30 fps. In addition, the Virb 360 is able to respond to voice commands so operators can focus solely on capturing the perfect image while otherwise engaged.

Available for $800, the new Garmin Virb 360 Camera comes with a free companion app, and desktop software that allows for easy photo enhancement and sharing.
