Famed London-based department store Harrods has unveiled its first-ever original in-house furniture collection. The designs have been developed through a collaboration with Italian brand Porada and British brand Artistic Upholstery.

Harrods will offer cabinetry, a console, tables, armchairs, and a sofa in the Debut Collection, which will feature the art-deco styling currently popular among the store’s clientele.

Porada has been a fixture at Harrods since 1994, and with its years of expertise, it helped the Harrods Interiors team surmount design hurdles; countless finishes and details were examined before final production. The brand was able to assist in tying all of the pieces together with trims, handles, and inlaid brass.

Artistic Upholstery provided the textiles used in the luxurious Harrods collection. They brought a soft formality to the line.

The Debut furniture collection is currently available at Harrod’s London location.
