With the 2017 Geneva Motor Show rapidly approaching, NanoFlowcell has revealed its latest version of the Quant, the Lichtenstein-based brand’s battery-powered electric sports car.

NanoFlowcell released the specs for the Quant 48Volt, and they don’t disappoint. The supercar is supposedly super quick, going from a stop to 62 mph in 2.4 seconds and offering a top speed of 186 mph. The model also offers an impressive 620-mile range.

The Quant 48Volt features an all-wheel-drive layout. Four low-voltage motors powered by the 48-volt unit produce a very surprising 750 horsepower.

NanoFlowcell is thinking about making the production process easier as well. The Lichtenstein brand uses a new solid aluminum net structure instead of the copper windings that are usually found in electric motor designs. It says this makes series production simpler and more economical while taking up less space and relieving weight in the end product. Supercapacitors are dropped in favor of the proprietary battery design, offering further weight relief.

The brand also upgraded the interior scheme in the Quant 48Volt, giving the electric supercar two-tone seats.

More information about the Quant 48Volt is forthcoming: the supercar is scheduled to make its debut on March 7th, in Geneva.
