Henry Frederick Stanley Morgan founded the Morgan motor car company all the way back in 1910 and, ever since, the British carmaker has impressed drivers and collectors with its unique motor vehicles. Staid, tradition, British craftsmanship. And internal combustion powered.

Last year, Morgan surprised the auto manufacturing world by revealing its first production electric vehicle, the EV3. And after a successful release of that model, the family-owned British company has decided to announce another EV, the EV3 Junior, a children’s version of that model.

The EV3 Junior, like the EV3 and all other Morgan vehicles, is handmade. It features a carbon fiber body, a wooden dashboard, and a hand-stitched leather interior.

The EV3 Junior is available in Sport Red, Sport Green, Sport Yellow, or Sport Ivory finishes, paired with black or tan leather. But for little tykes who want to match their parent’s own Morgan model, any of Morgan’s existing production paint colors are available for the EV3 Junior, for an added cost.

Morgan built the EV3 Junior to reach speeds of up to 10 mph, a bit slower than the EV3 that can hit 100 mph, and goes from stop to 60 mph in eight seconds.

The Morgan EV3 Junior starts at a little under $8,300.
