A Miami Beach home owned by Argentinian supermodel Daniela Urzi and her husband has sold. The Venetian Islands property transferred ownership for $10 million. It had been initially listed about nine months ago, with an asking price of $12.95 million. Urzi purchased the property in 2011, for $3.6 million.

Situated on De Lido, the home measures 5,000 square feet, and contains five bedrooms and 5.5 baths. The house dates to the 1950’s, and is a Floridian Mediterranean-style mélange, with Spanish and Italian Renaissance Revival design elements, including square turret, low-pitched roof with semi-circular tiles, covered second-floor balcony with wrought-iron balustrade, and rectangular windows.

The home’s interior is a blend of whitewash, off-white, and warm wood. The kitchen fuses cherry finished cabinetry, gold marble countertops, marble floors, and brushed stainless; the effect is a little heavy. A games room, with paneled walls and ceiling, is similarly intense.

Elsewhere, the home is bright and ethereal. The master bedroom, in particular, with its softly muted yellow walls, and sliding glass balcony doors, has a pleasingly casual, tropical atmosphere. The bay window in the master bath features a spectacular water view, one of many available inside the home.

The property exterior features a pool with grill and outside dining area, and a second-floor balcony that spans the length of the house.

Daniela Urzi has represented Giorgio Armani, Burberry, and Robert Cavalli. She has appeared on the covers of Elle and Vogue, among other prominent fashion magazines.
