Lexus is geared up to expand its current model lineup into the crossover market with two impressive new models.

The first new crossover is set to be a toned-down example of the UX concept that debuted a couple of months ago at the Paris Auto Show. This UX-based examples will replace the CT hatchback in Japan’s premier luxury car brand’s lineup.

Lexus is expected to initially offer three editions of the UX model, the UX200, UX250, and UX250H. The first two models will earn four-cylinder engines, while the UX250H tops the range and will feature a gasoline/electric hybrid setup.

The second crossover, the RX, will stand at the larger end of its current model lineup. With room for up to seven passengers, the two iterations will be called the RX350L and RX450HL. The former will be equipped with a 3.5-liter V6 powerplant and the latter will be the hybrid model boasting a 308 horsepower output.

Both the UX and RX lines will feature at an upcoming major auto show this year before entering full production for 2018.
