Between the hours of traffic and all the smog produced by vehicles, more people are opting to bike to work. A Chinese e-bike manufacturer is hoping to encourage that trend with the release of their new Tsinova E-Bike.

Considering that Beijing is home to roughly 20 million people, Tsinova might be the perfect solution to the intense traffic and congestion in the city. After receiving a large investment, the brand is hoping to change the game of biking in China, and potentially around the world.

Founder Chen Tengjiao has said that while many e-bikes are made for those who don’t own a car, their new bike is ideal for the traditional car owner who wants something a bit more convenient and fun.

What makes Tsinova so different is the VeloUp drivetrain system that uses a series of sensors to monitor the road condition and make cruising or trucking uphill even easier for riders. With a fixed speed limit of about 12 miles per hour, it’s perfect for avoiding traffic. It even boasts a 44-mile range thanks to a lithium-ion battery.

Users will also have access to a partner smartphone app that connects using Bluetooth and allows users to access different modes, the security system, battery data, and navigation.

Thanks to a more than $22 million investment, Tsinova might even make its way the U.S. soon.
