Hermès Looks to Its Equestrian Past for New Fragrance Inspiration

Luxury fashion and accessory brand Hermès has just introduced its newest fragrance.

The French luxury goods manufacturer’s new scent is called Galop d’Hermès, and it was inspired by the company’s equestrian roots. Designed by in-house perfumer Christine Nagel, it’s sure to smell incredible since she’s worked with other perfumes like Thierry Mugler B*Men and the Cartier Eau de Cartier.

Nagel’s work with this new fragrance is said to be her best, and that level of craftsmanship is honored with a sleek bottle that’s shaped as a stirrup. Inside, wearers will find a beautifully balanced oriental scent.

As the first fragrance fully crafted by Nagel, Galop d’Hermès captures the connection between a woman and her perfume with a subtle leather cord that’s attached to the faintly Art Deco-inspired bottle.

Available this month, Galop d’Hermès can be found in stores across the world.
