Former NBA superstar Shaquille O’Neal recently sealed a slam dunk of a deal with his $1.15-million purchase of a 14-acre, two-residence compound just outside of Atlanta, Georgia.

Shaq’s new estate is located in McDonough, Georgia, which is around 30 miles southeast of Atlanta. The property’s two homes total 7,400 square feet and feature 8 bedrooms and 10 bathrooms. There is also a three-stall barn complete with an attached workshop on the property.

The larger of the two homes comes with 5 bedrooms, a 12-seat movie theater, and a gym. The smaller house shapes out to hold three bedrooms and two bathrooms and features an attached sunroom.

This isn’t the first time the Big Unit has purchased property in Atlanta, though. The future Hall-of-Fame center has a condo in Buckhead and a 6-acre farm in Gwinnett County. However, it makes sense to put down some roots in Atlanta for the former first overall pick since O’Neal currently serves as a co-host for TNT’s NBA coverage and the station’s studios are located in Atlanta.
