Hollywood director Louis Leterrier has just listed his small Venice, California, cottage for $5 million. Although the unit is seemingly pricey for its size, the “Now You See Me” director received an offer within a week of its listing.

Leterrier’s 784-square-foot cottage was built in 1922 and holds two bedrooms. It features accents like skylights, French doors, wood flooring, a loft, and a small shed on the back of the property.

The quaint and charming home received an offer for $4.995 million, but that’s not too surprising since it’s set on 7,000 square feet and is located in one of Venice’s most popular neighborhoods. The area called the “Venice walking streets” is especially unique since cars aren’t allowed on most tree-lined lanes.

It’s been reported that one of the lot’s stately trees has been the center of attention, and nearly every visitor was captured by its attention as if the home itself was an accessory. However charming the tree, though, it’s believed that most buyers would demolish the existing cottage in favor of a larger estate.

Alternatively, some interested buyers have considered simply expanding the cottage since large yards are quite rare in the area.
