Who says flatware should be hidden away in a drawer? Parisian silversmith Christofle definitely doesn’t think so.

The creative silversmith’s new flatware set is presented in a unique egg-shaped capsule meant to stand out rather than be tucked away. Dinner guests will be intrigued and entertained by the new 24-piece, silver-plated set.

With 179 years of intricate craftsmanship, the brand’s style is clearly on display in the new Mood flatware set that sports an egg-shaped design and the Christofle coat of arms. A solid walnut interior adds a flair of modern style too.

Perfect for an impromptu but chic meal, the set is incredibly portable while still maintaining an air of elegance. Owners will find they don’t need to stash away their valuable silver, but rather the capsule appears like a piece of art on any counter top.

Priced at $1,000, the artful set comes with six settings each comprised of a spoon, knife, fork, and teaspoon.
