Haagen-Dazs is making headlines with the creation of its special edition Christmas cake made by Italian designer Paola Navone.
The calendar cake has a crispy base and blocks of chocolate, with tasty bits of joy in between. Eaters can take the cake apart and eat a chocolate tablet each day until New Years Eve.
There are two flavors to choose from. Chocolate lovers are treated with almond and brown icing, while the red version will soothe palates with macadamia nut brittle and dulce de leche.
The only bad thing about Haagen-Dazs’ piece of art is that it has to be eaten. But that’s not really a bad thing, is it?
