Howard Hughes’s former Beverly Hills home just hit the market with an asking price of $11.5 million.

The home is unmistakably inspired by mid-century modern architecture and has the look and feel of the ideal ’60s Hollywood home.

With 4,300 square feet of living space, four bedrooms, and five bathrooms, the home offers plenty of space for the would-be movie mogul. It sits on a half-acre of land that has a lavish nine-foot-deep pool and offers stunning views of the pacific ocean.

Hughes was one of the wealthiest people in the world during his lifetime. He gained prominence in Hollywood by making big-budget films such as Hell’s Angels (1930) and Scarface (1932). He founded the Hughes Aircraft Co. and set several world air speed records. Hughes’ life was the inspiration behind the blockbuster film “The Aviator,” which starred Leonardo DiCaprio as Hughes.
