UK-based designer John McLear has come up with a ring that unlocks doors and cell phones. The NFC (near-field communication) ring is a gadget/piece of jewelry that you can use to unlock doors, access your phone, and send your personal information to others.  The content is transferred wirelessly between your phone and other devices.

You will need to install an app to sync your ring with the phone or door you wish to unlock.  There are two ways to share your information: a private and a public one, so basically, you share only what you want and keep the rest of the information as private as you want.
