For Its Latest Trick, Mansory Turns the Lamborghini Urus Into a Coupe

Mansory’s newest revision of the mightily flashy Lamborghini Urus — the SUV body style that hit with buyers kicking $50K tires — is a stem-to-stern revision that loses two doors and brings crossover coupe into the picture.

The German tuning company calls the updated Urus the Venatus Coupé EVO C. The process is a “complete vehicle conversion,” according to Mansory, and built according to Mansory’s new ‘One of One’ marketing scheme that approaches each example of the eight-vehicle custom run as a “one-off.” The firm tells us that a year and a half elapsed from the model’s nascency to finished product.

The conversion called for pushing back the B-pillar of the Urus, as well as widening the body and adding large side air intakes. New body panels, a new exhaust system with three pipes, wildly complex aero front and back, and reformulated doors with a distinctive arrow design are also included in the build. The Urus’ engine has been tuned to produce 900 horsepower and 811 pound-feet of torque; the Venatus can zip to 62 MPH in 2.9 seconds.

Inside the coupe, the front seats now fold, as they must; the backseats have been shifted to a single bench with an adjustable center console. The rest of the interior is endlessly customizable.
