American pro-tennis player John Isner has sold his Tampa Bay, Florida, home for $1.15 million.

Isner purchased the home for $900,000 from MLB star Derek Jeter in 2011. The 4,500-square-foot Mediterranean-style estate is located in a gated community, and is accessed via a circular brick driveway.

The home’s facade is defined by an incredibly imposing extended portico entrance. Inside, high ceilings, warm hardwood floors, and clerestory windows give the house a terrific sense of scale and an easygoing feel. Wall niches, built-ins, and period-inflected fixtures enhance the effect.

Athough the floor plan isn’t exactly open-concept, living spaces like a formal dining room and a kitchen with granite countertops flow smoothly into one another, creating an inviting feel. There are five bedrooms and five baths overall.

The property exterior incorporates entertainment potential galore, with a covered patio with a wet bar floored with octagonal pavers. The landscaped solarium with lagoon-style swimming pool and spa might take the prize, though.

Isner is 10th-ranked globally in men’s singles.
