In the spring of 2018, two-time Academy Award-winning actor Ben Affleck acquired what was then a brand-new build in Pacific Palisades. Affleck held onto the property for four years, listing it for sale this summer with an asking price of $30 million.

After a relatively brief sojourn on the open market, the property went to a new owner early this month; it closed at $28.5 million. Good news for Affleck, who laid out $20 million for it four years ago.

The home’s white-painted masonry exterior dresses up architecture that’s already quite traditional, right down to the fanlight window that stands as the decorative centerpiece of the facade. Inside the home a strictly contemporary living style emerges across 13,453 sq. ft. of floor space. Highlights of the interiors include the sitting room, which is finished with box beamed ceilings and bay windows, a formal dining room with a chandelier, and a primary living space with a fireplace — the fireplace has its twin in the covered patio, the primary outdoor living area.

The .56 acre lot is positioned next door to the Riviera Country Club. An outdoor kitchen, pool and spa, and guest house complete a sketch of the property.

Affleck’s other real estate adventures over the last couple of years include the waterfront house in Miami Beach he rented with Jennifer Lopez to the tune of $130K per month.

Affleck’s upcoming projects include The Flash, with Ezra Miller, Ron Livingston, and Michael Keaton.
