NBA sharpshooter Thomas Bryant may be down with a torn ACL, but he picked up a new residence in Los Angeles recently to speed the healing process. The Wizards’ center dropped $4.8 million at the closing, and went home to a 4,220 sq. ft. that hails from 1966. He recently parted with another L.A. home for $3.7 million.

A step inside the incoming home reveals a fine blend of updated touches and original details; in the latter camp, the fieldstone accent walls and fireplace remain, with the material getting a reprise as a landscaping and exterior accent material. Reclaimed teak, wide-plank white oak floors, and optional glass walls also distinguish this home’s shared living area. A gym, a home theater and an elevator top the amenities list.

The outdoor living spaces include a terrace off the master, and a pool, fire pit and patio with BBQ.
