A home buyer in Scottsdale looking for a unique project in desert contemporary style picked up Sarah Palin’s partially completed house for $6.2 million. The former governor of Alaska started this project, and for whatever reason did not finish it. In early 2018, she put it on the open market with an asking price of $6.25 million.

The home is situated in the Silverleaf community in the McDowell Mountains. The interiors of the house measure 7,660 square feet, and it contains 4 bedrooms and 6 baths. The design calls for walls of glass, an elevator, custom stonework and lighting, and a style that blends contemporary style with desert rusticity.

The lot extends to 1.28 acres, and the design calls for an extensive outdoor living space. A negative edge pool, covered and uncovered dining and lounging areas, and a garage with a collection showcase are also included in the blueprints.
