Electric car company Byton has introduced its second self-driving EV concept, the K-Byte.

The Chinese automaker specializes in high-end, smart, and eco-friendly electric vehicles. This time around, though, Byton is taking its electric sedan one step further with autonomous capabilities thanks to its partnership with OEM self-driving tech company Aurora. It’s also taking it a step farther, with a range of about 250 miles.

Set to officially debut at CES Asia, the premium four-door boasts advanced new retractable sensors integrated into the vehicle’s build. The K-Byte was based upon the Byton Concept, meaning it will be a self-driving car with Level 4 autonomy.

Even though very little human engagement will be necessary to get from point A to point B, drivers will enjoy the experience of operating the sporty K-Byte; the car will be outfitted with a powerful 71 kWh battery. No performance numbers have been announced by Byton at this time, but the launch time will likely be favorably exciting.

Byton plans to send prototype cars out on the road by the close of 2020.
