Many enthusiasts of high-end performance cars would consider any modification to the Ferrari 488 GTB an act of sacrilege. In the slightly less than three years the model has been in existence, it has gathered a following among drivers and wannabes for its incredibly efficient V8 engine, its contemporary interior features, and its exquisite styling. The 488 is one beautiful car.

The team at Pogea Racing, though, saw a few windows for improvement, and they haven’t been idle. The German tuner likes Italian cars, and they’ve contributed to makes and designs various and sundry. You may remember them from last year’s project the Ares, when they transformed a Fiat 500 Abarth from cute and nimble to fighting fettle.

Pogea’s FPlus Corsa project tunes a Ferrari 488 GTB. The company debuted the enhanced car at the Top Marques Monaco show, having overhauled the vehicle into an 820 horsepower, a significant step up from the factory rating of somewhat more than 660. The car produces 664 pound-feet of torque.

Additionally, the tuning company added a new exhaust system with stainless steel flaps to help improve the Ferrari’s performance and output. Pogea also added a series of carbon-fiber pieces and custom 21-inch wheels.

Thanks to all these upgrades, the Ferrari can now reach 62 mph in just 2.8 seconds, and a max speed of 215 mph.

Pogea Racing’s FPlus Corsa package will only be available for 20 GTB vehicles, and is priced starting at $43,100.
