Yamaha has just introduced its new three-wheel motorcycle, Niken. And it’s a far cry from a tricycle.

The high-performance 3-wheeler looks to be earmarked as a full production model. The Niken offers a truly unique cornering experience thanks to added grip provided by the two-wheeled design of the front end of the bike.

The Niken’s stands out from the crowd of 3-wheelers with its aggressive build. The highlights are angular front paneling, and striking twin forks supporting 15-inch front wheels.

The tilting motorcycle offers unparalleled stability and counter-steering capabilities, so riders can enjoy cruising down the road even in inclement weather.

While many details have yet to be revealed, the production Niken is expected to boast a super torquey inline triple engine from the Mt09 platform.

More details about the 2018 Yamaha Niken will be revealed November 6 at EICMA.
