Another of Late Billionaire Jerry Perenchio’s CA Properties Comes to Market, This One for a Less Hair-Raising $5.5M

Another home of late media mogul Jerry Perenchio has hit the market for a modest $5.495 million.

Relatively speaking. Fresh off the listing of Perenchio’s incredible $350-million, ten-plus acre Bel Air estate, the newest property of his to become available seems a bit less grandiose.

The Malibu home is set on roughly one-third of an acre in the guard-gated Colony enclave. While it isn’t oceanfront, the house is quite beautiful, with a brick gate and walkway, and a deep, full-length front porch.

Inside, the home boasts a combination living/dining room with a white brick fireplace and a modest kitchen with updated appliances. There’s also a quaint one-bed, one-bath cottage on the property that dates back to the early 1940s.

Possibly the most incredible element of the property is the sprawling yard complete with several brick terraces, stacked stone walls, and a number of mature shade trees. The property abuts Perenchio’s private ten-acre golf course.

Perenchio’s holdings include a number of other Colony properties, including at least two oceanfront homes. The late talent manager and sports promoter passed in March of this year, and had an estimated net worth of approximately $2.8 billion at the time of his death.
