For those dreaming of a Tumbleweed Connection, Elton John collaborator and songwriter Bernie Taupin has just placed his Santa Ynez Valley home on the market for $4.7 million.

The talented songwriter has owned the ranch for more than 25 years. Located in Santa Barbara County, the 30-acre property holds a hacienda-style main home with five bedrooms and six baths.

The expansive residence boasts an impressive kitchen complete with five ovens, in addition to other amenities like a covered riding arena, a center-aisle barn, guest homes, and an art studio.

“This place has just been unbelievably inspirational for me, especially in my writing and my artwork. The songs I’ve written here have all been inspired by this place and the comfort it gives me,” said Taupin.

Taupin is best known for working with Elton John on some of his biggest hits, like “Rocket Man,” “Bennie and the Jets,” “Candle in the Wind,” and “Goodbye Yellow Brick Road.”
