Longtime actor and producer David Arquette has offloaded his home in the historic Windsor Square area of Los Angeles. The beautiful property, which was originally owned by lawyer and former dean of the California Bar Henry O’Melveny, sold for $8.342 million.

The Craftsman-style home was built in 1909, and is a Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument. The house originally sat on Wilshire Boulevard in Los Angeles in what is now Koreatown. It was moved to its current location on three-quarters of an acre by the O’Melveny family in 1930.

The entire residence has been painstakingly restored and comes with period features such as mahogany doors, beamed ceilings, and a total of six wood-burning fireplaces. Other spaces in the home include a den, a family room, a wet bar, a third-floor game room, and a kitchen that holds a massive marble-topped island.

The home’s interior living space measures 9,708 square feet, and offers its new owner seven bedrooms and eight bathrooms. Outside, there is a swimming pool, a meditation pond, an oversized outdoor fireplace and sitting area, and meticulously landscaped grounds.

Arquette purchased the O’Melveny home in 2014, for $7.15 million. The 45-year-old actor/producer is a best known for his roles in movies such as “Ravenous,” “Never Been Kissed,” “Eight Legged Freaks,” and the “Scream” franchise. He has produced TV shows “Cougar Town” and “Celebrity Name Game.”
