Luxury motorcycle maker MV Agusta has created a new special vehicles division, and the first bike to come from the Italian brand’s new arm dubbed the Reparto Veicoli Speciali #1 is truly something special.

The new in-house division is officially called the Reparto Veicolo Speciali (RVS), and it was set up with the help of the Castiglioni Research Center with the intent to create special hand-built examples in super limited numbers.

The #1 is branched off from MV Agusta’s three-cylinder Brutale Dragster 800, which is already a special version of MV’s standard Brutale model.

MV Agusta didn’t reveal too many details about the specific changes it made to the Brutale Dragster 800 in order to create the RVS #1, but it did reveal that it is 10 horsepower faster and about 18 pounds lighter. This brings the RVS #1 to 150 horsepower and 353 pounds, a substantial power-to-weight ratio indeed.

Only 95 examples of the MV Agusta RVS #1 will be built, and it will assuredly come with a hefty price tag.
