A Connecticut home designed by renowned architect Frank Lloyd Wright is now on the market for $7.2 million.

Built in 1955, the estate known as Tirranna is located on the riverfront in New Canaan. The Native American word for running water—Tirranna—is certainly an appropriate name for the estate; its private, lush location near the water suggests continuity.

The home is 7,000 square feet, and features a unique horseshoe shape with seven bedrooms throughout. Although more than sixty years old, the house and parcel have been meticulously cared for and preserved.

Considering this Wright-designed estate was originally listed at $8 million, the future owner will surely be lucky if they can seal the deal for just $7.2 million. This is just one of 1,000 incredible designs by Wright and one of the 532 to be completed.
