East Coast Defender has completed yet another incredible tuning endeavor. Called Project 13, the new creation is based on the two-door Defender D90. It was specially built for soccer stars Servando Carrasco and Alex Morgan.

The name Project 13 serves as a tribute to Morgan’s No. 13 jersey, her professional marker as one of the stars of the U.S. Women’s National Team.

The customized Defender is outfitted with a GM LC9 V8 engine that pushes 326 horsepower. A GM 6-speed automatic transmission gives it plenty of versatility to serve as an off-road machine, and the easy restraint for city streets.

The interior is decked out with all-leather upholstery; a top-of-the-line infotainment system manages the vehicle’s mechanics and negotiations while providing in-ride entertainment on demand. Outside, the bespoke Defender has been given a Keswick Green paint job paired with a black top.

Morgan has been a senior member of the USWNT since 2010, when she completed her collegiate career playing for the California Golden Bears in Berkley. She is currently on loan at Olympique Lyonnais of the French Ligue 1, from the NWSL’s Orlando Pride.

Carrasco met Morgan while they both played at Cal-Berkley together. The 28-year-old midfielder is currently playing for MLS side Orlando City SC after stints playing for Seattle Sounders FC, the Houston Dynamo, and Sporting Kansas City.
