Knauf and Brown took to the 2017 Stockholm Light and Furniture Fair to reveal a quintet of concept-designed furnishings for the modern home. Fairly divergent in design influence, the pieces represented form an eclectic whole.

First is the Keefer Credenza, which features strings of bamboo beads hiding the vertical structure behind; the result is a floating appearance, and a credenza with a playful 60’s sensibility.

Next is the Lloyd desk lamp. The Lloyd is a bit of modernist purism. A LED panel and base which both rotate 360 degrees, and a minimalist V-shaped neck suspending the LED panel above the base highlight the design. Form through function.

Knauf and Brown is also offering a three-steel-legged floor lamp dubbed the Belcarra Floor Light. The flat, circular shade of LED light sits a little askew. The light is named after a coastal neighborhood on Canadian Pacific Northwest that has “jaunty metal caps” topping clusters of pilings which secure the seaside homes.

There is also the Elli tabletop mirror, which has a built-in concave tray at the base for holding smaller items.

Last is the matte gray Vent occasional table that features a cylindrical base that holds a series of aluminum slats to create the tabletop, and is influenced by the high modernist style.
