Famed architect Renzo Piano is the man responsible for important skyscrapers such as the Shard in London and the New York Times building in New York City, but one of his most recent projects comes in a little bit of a smaller form.

Thanks to Riva 1920, Piano has had the chance to present his take on the Earth Table, which incorporates 50,000-year-old wood sourced from New Zealand into a resin. The use of resin is a unique choice from Piano, but the way the material is used creates a bespoke aesthetic that allows the antiquated wood to take center stage.

The versatile table is perfect for any space and would make a nice living room the centerpiece.

Pricing for the Earth Table is available upon request.
